Many students over their time at Cranleigh are able to participate in 'hipotherapy' at Pegasus – riding school for the disabled programme.
Chief Minister's Reading Challenge
The whole school is involved with the challenge to read 12 books by the end of term 3 with 8 books from the CMRC book list. Teachers also make a sensory book chosen from the reading list to share across the school community.
Students in Years 4, 5 and 6 may participate in an overnight camp or a full day program at Birrigai - approximately one hour's drive from Canberra in the Namadgi National Park. Options for the Birrigai program are explored each year and are dependent upon student needs and staff availability. Whilst at Birrigai students are able to practice skills they learn in the classroom and have fun together in the outdoors.
